Position Summary

Big Bad Boo and Oznoz.com develop and distribute multilingual products (animated cartoons, games and books) that teach children different languages and about different cultures. We are high growth company looking for energetic team players that can positively contribute to our environment, have a passion for excellence and appreciate our social objectives.

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for our VOD / Ecommerce platform. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of product management in a similar space and know how to successfully manage deadlines and individuals.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the direction and manage the development of the Oznoz VOD / Ecommerce platform including all mobile, TV and desktop Apps.
• Perform and spearhead QCon all Products
• Manage the on-boarding of new content partners (including communicating technical requirements and QC of delivered assets)
• Manage team of (freelancers and in-house) developers, graphic designers and editors on short-term and long-term projects.
• Manage the content of the Oznoz Ecommerce site using a custom CMS (content management system) including new categories, products, and promotions

Requirements  

• MUST have expert understanding of product management, testing and delivery
• MUST have excellent project management and documentation skills
• Experience with Magento, PHP, HTML preferred
• A working knowledge of VOD streaming technologies and digitization
• Experience with video editing, transcoding and graphics programs including Final Cut Pro and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
• Excellent editing, writing skills, proofreading skills, including a solid understanding of SEO
• Demonstrated ability to optimize workflows and processes
• Bachelors Degree required
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines
• Ability to work with people from different disciplines and cultures with varying degrees of knowledge
• Strong work ethic and team player
• Multi-tasker and self-starter who thrives in small, team-oriented environment
• Experience with Mac, iOS, MS Office and Adobe is required
• Company is looking for Macophiles with an obsession for the end user experience
• Must take pride in work and strive for zero-defect output.
